The Moon

Here is the moon that was out on the night of October 12 2017 and the morning of October 13 2017.

For some reason I’ve wanted to take a lot of photo’s of the moon recently. At some point I might take a month and photograph the moon. I know there are/were other people who do take photographs of the moon over the course of the night or during a month, but I just want to give it a gander. Though I’m going to wait til I have a working car to do this, and to look for a good out-of-the-way spot with less light pollution to this small project.

Quarter Moon

Here is a photo of a Quarter Moon that I took this one evening in Arizona. It’s one of few photographs that I’ve taken of the Moon over the last four to six months.

As far as I know this it’s named a Quarter Moon; however, if it’s named differently please let me know and I’ll update this post.

It’s going to be Quiet for Sometime to come on this site

Hello There

Just want to post an update about the site and I’ll be posting anything for a bit of time in part that I don’t have internet access at home anymore and for sometime to come. Plus, there are still a fair amount of photographs that I still need to go through before posting to this site. One of the images that I’ve already upload is the featured image on this post.

Also, I need to spend time looking for a job that I could enable to stuff with my life and to expand this site further.

Bye for now….

Another Sunset Photo at Fallen Leaf Lake

The photograph below I took a few moments after the photo in the last post. In this photograph that I took with a Samsung phone – I’m looking towards the North – Northeast end of the lake.

Here is sunset taken at Fallen Leaf Lake, CA along route 89. It was a generally overcast day. Looking towards North by Northeast.

Sorting Photographs

Hopefully during the next two weeks I would be sorting and possibly adding some photographs that I’ve taken the last two years on to this blog. I know in the past I would post photos and don’t and I’m planning to now. I doubt that I would be able to upload all the photo’s that I’ve taken over the two years. Granted, I doubt that I would be uploading all the photo’s – fraction of the photos would be uploaded.

There are a number of photo’s that I took with my phone which I’m planning to put up as a few regular posts on this site. I may do a sample gallery then link to the rest of the photos; but, I may not do this – depends on what I upload to the blog.

I’ll be posting something when I’m done sorting and editing the photos.

Photographs of Mt. Shasta

Hello All,

I have added a gallery page for the time that I stopped at the Mt. Shasta View Point alone southbound Interstate 5 in Northern California.

Photograph taken from the M Shasta View Point turn out.

This is one of many galleries that I will be adding to this site. When I do add gallery pages I’ll be updating the main Gallery page to show the pages that I’ve added along the what I say on the page.

Photographs (part 2)

As mentioned in my last post that I would be adding some photographs to this blog. I’ve also said that the posting of said photos will take about a month or two – any posting of photographs would be towards of this month (October). I just want to get used to a new College before spending time editing photographs and such.

The photographs would be in and around South Lake Tahoe, CA.

Finding Photographic Supplies

Hello folks,

I’m looking for a good quality online store that sells 35mm film for a 35mm film based camera. The type of film that I’m looking for is the following: black and white at 1600 ISO. Where I’m living the store I usually shop at no longer sells film with this ISO rate. Plus any other supplies that I could get online except for the processing liquid itself.

I’m on a budget of some kind and don’t want to spend an excessive amount of money. Though I don’t mind spending little extra for quality supplies. At this time – all of this would be an education related purchases.

I know I could just use Google to search for photograph supplies and visit many websites – which I don’t mind doing and found a couple that look promising but I would like to get some suggestions from anyone with a good photographic background and who has had bought supplies online in the past.

Thanks to anyone for any and all suggestions.
