Here are two videos of a duck that swam to the shore that’s on my families property on a lake near Lake Tahoe. The duck seemed to expecting food and this took place on a late September evening in 2014 before colder weather had settled in for the season.

Ducks Paddling
Here is a 25 second video of ducks paddling on Fallen Leaf Lake and it was during the evening/sunset hours one September day.
There might be another video or two that I may post at some point – just don’t know when I would.
Ducks on Fallen Leaf Lake
Here is a wide-angle shot of two ducks that I saw swimming towards the north end of Fallen Leaf Lake one evening. These two photos I took with an iPhone 5s.
