This was taken at sunset and there is sunlight behind the mountain located in the northwest side of the lake.

Here is a video that I took while I was at Fallen Leaf Lake in the fall of 2014 and I took this on Sept 10, 2014. I took this at dusk very shortly before the light disappeared for the night hence the very low light when I shot this. Normally I don’t film with very low light like this. Enjoy!
